A lawyer for one of
four men accused of pack raping a young woman in 1989 has told a Wellington
jury the woman had sex with his client soon after the alleged rape. The four are charged
with abducting and raping the complainant, then aged 20, in Mt Maunganui. One of the defence
lawyers told the court the complainant embraced and kissed two of the accused
before having sex. He suggested to the complainant that she also had sex with
his client later on the same day and gave him her home contact details. |
