There has been a bombshell revelation at the High Court in Auckland.

As Clint Rickards, and former police officers Brad Schollum and Bob Shipton were found not guilty of indecent assault and kidnapping a 16-year-old Rotorua girl between November 1983 and August 1984, a suppression order was lifted revealing that Shipton and Schollum are currently serving jail sentences for rape. They were convicted in 2005 of an historical incident. Shipton is serving eight-and-a-half years and Schollum eight years. They have been taken back to prison.
