A false complaint has
led Christchurch police to close an investigation into an alleged attempted
abduction. They were looking for a
man who apparently tried to lure a 12-year old girl into his car near Aranui
High School, last month. Detective Dave Joker
says the matter has now been referred to Youth Aid. He says police have to
take all complaints seriously, and is thankful to the public for their help
in the investigation. |
