Police are
investigating the alleged sexual violation of a woman by a Wellington taxi
driver. A 22-year-old woman says she caught a taxi in Courtenay Place some
time after 8 o'clock this morning to go to Johnsonville. She says the driver
took her to Arthur Carman Street in Johnsonville where he climbed into the
back seat and sexually violated her. Police want to hear
from anyone who saw a white taxi parked on Arthur Carman Street between 8 and
9 this morning. They have not released a description of the driver. |
