Nelson: A 15-year-old Wanaka
girl who told police she had been accosted and raped in Nelson has been
referred to Youth Aid for making a false complaint. Detective Sergeant Kevin
Tiernan said police received the girl’s complaint about 1am on Friday. Three
detectives worked on the inquiry during Friday before the girl admitted it
was not true. |
