A Johnsonville woman
who is accused of making a false complaint to police that she was raped by a
taxi driver on August 6 has been given diversion and the opportunity to
escape a conviction. The 22-year-old woman's name was suppressed when she was
remanded till October 20 by Wellington District Court judge Jan Kelly. |
