A New Plymouth teenager charged
with rape has appeared in the New Plymouth Youth Court. The 16-year-old, who cannot be
named for legal reasons, was arrested last Friday. Judge Louis Bidois
remanded the youth to February 22 on bail conditions, which included a curfew
and prevented him from consuming alcohol or contacting the complainant.
