Wellington police are
appealing for information from the public after a woman was abducted last
night in the suburb of Berhampore. The woman, in her 20s,
was walking towards the Berhampore shops when she was forced into a vehicle
by two men between 7.30pm and 7.45pm. The partially clad
woman managed to escape, more than 10km away in the suburb of Wilton, and
flag down passsing motorists about 8.55pm. |
