Police are calling for
help from the public to find two men who abducted a woman in Wellington on
Wednesday night. Acting Detective
Sergeant Brendan Mears says the 26-year-old was walking along Adelaide Road
towards the Berhampore shopping centre when a car did a u-turn and pulled up
alongside her. He says the men in the
car forced the woman into the vehicle and took her across town to Churchill
Drive near Wilton Bush where she eventually escaped. Mr Mears says police
are keen to hear about any sightings of the car, which is described as a
black four-door sporty, boy racer-type vehicle, possibly a Honda. |
