Stabbing inquiry

Christchurch - The investigation into the stabbing of a 47-year-old woman in Styx Mill reserve is continuing. The woman was repeatedly stabbed while jogging through the reserve about 3pm last Thursday. Investigation head Detective Senior Sergeant Grant Wormald said there had been no major developments, but evidence from the scene was still being examined. Anyone with information about the attack, or who had seen the offender, a caucasian man in his late teens to early 20s, wearing a grey hoodie, was asked to contact police.
