The Australian Federal Police have
taken into custody two Catholic clergymen who are facing extradition to New
Zealand over child sex offence charges. The former Saint John of God order
members are alleged to have sexually abused pupils at a Christchurch school
during the 1970s. The Federal Court in Sydney today
set aside an earlier decision not to extradite Brother Rodger Moloney, who's
71, and Father Raymond Garchow, who's 59. Lawyers have indicated they will
be seeking bail next week
