Two Catholic clergymen have lost
their battle to avoid extradition from Australia to face historic sex abuse
charges in Christchurch. The High Court has refused St John
of God Clergymen Raymond Garchow and Roger Moloney the right to appeal
against their extradition. Moloney, 71, and Garchow, 58, are
alleged to have committed sex offences against young boys in Christchurch
between 1971 and 1980. Garchow is a priest and Moloney a
brother with the St John of God Catholic order |
