The extradition from Australia of
two Catholic clergymen accused of sex abuse at a Christchurch school in the
1970s may take at least another day. Yesterday the Australian High
Court refused an appeal against the extradition of 71-year old Rodger William
Moloney and 58-year old Raymond John Garchow. Two police officers will travel
from Christchurch to Sydney to escort the clergymen to New Zealand. But police spokesperson John
Neilson says the logistics of who will go and when has yet to be determined.
