Rape urban myth Drug-rapes

The police in Taranaki are very
concerned by reports that a number of women in the region have been drug
raped - but say they can't yet confirm of any of the allegations. Sex abuse counsellors say seven
women woke after being out in New Plymouth or Stratford late last week, to
discover evidence of often brutal sexual assaults. Detective Senior Sergeant Grant
Coward says only one complaint has been laid with police and he is urging
other women to come forward.
