Police want to hear from the
alleged victims of a spate of reported drug rapes in the Taranaki region. Seven women in less than a week
have told a New Plymouth counselling centre they were raped after being
drugged at venues in Stratford and New Plymouth. The Safer Centre believes a gang
of men may be behind the attacks, but police say they've not received any
formal complaints. Officers are also warning people
not to leave their drinks unattended when they're out socialising.
