Union pleased

The primary teachers union has welcomed news that Kapiti Coast teacher Michael Neville, acquitted last year of sex charges involving former pupils, has been reinstated at the school where he used to teach.

Educational Institute president Colin Tarr said the union supported Mr Neville, who fought the charges. "We hope he is allowed to put the events of the last 19 months behind him."
