The trial of four men
accused of a historical rape has been relocated from Rotorua to Wellington. The men are facing rape,
sexual violation and abduction charges relating to an incident alleged to
have occurred in Mount Maunganui 16 years ago. They have pleaded not
guilty and have interim name suppression. At the High Court in
Auckland today, Justice Priestly ruled the trial will be moved to Wellington. |
