Four men accused of
pack-raping a woman in Mt Maunganui 16 years ago are due to stand trial at
Wellington on June 20 on rape and abduction charges. Two also face charges of
sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection.
Four men accused of
pack-raping a woman in Mt Maunganui 16 years ago are due to stand trial in
Wellington in June. Justice Ron Young set
the June 20 start date for the two-week case in the High Court at Wellington
yesterday. None of the four
accused men was present. All are charged with rape and abduction. Two also
face charges of sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection. Court orders prevent
identification of the accused men and their occupations at least till trial.
Four men accused of a
